Grenadier Guards killed at the Battle of Inkerman Nov 5 1855 age 32.
Vesey Dawson, Coldstream Guards, born September 3rd 1819, who entered the Regiment August 11th 1837, and proceeded with the 1st Battalion to Turkey in 1854, serving during the campaign in the Crimea, including the Alma, till the Battle of Inkerman, where he died a soldier's death, on the 5th November 1854, aged 35 years.
He joined the Grenadier Guards on the 12th January 1838, and proceeded with 3rd Battalion to Turkey, on the 22nd February 1854.

When back home Sven was recruited as a soldier in the Royal Grenadier Regiment again and got the soldier name Wallpol.
The war went wrong and about 1000 soldiers mostly from Sven’s regiment, Life Grenadier Regiment, became prison of wars in 6 November 1806.
In 30 November 1814 Sven was back home and after that he served rest of his time as a soldier in a time of peace.

 Regiments of the British Army
Much of this order of battle is based on the British Army 's website, Soldier Magazine, Andrew Dunford's former British Army website (Andrew, where have you gone!?), and help from many others.
Firstly, active armoured regiments are of American squadron/battalion size with squadrons being of troop/company size (troops are also of platoon size).
Similarly artillery regiments are also of battalion size, however with batteries being of the 'normal' company size.
