Computer role-playing game - Facts, Information, and Encyclopedia Reference article
These games are often more colorful and brighter than their western counterparts, and include the Japanese inclination to use a very loose fantasy world, not always strongly based on actual folklore or medieval times (perhaps because of a lack of familiarity thereof), but with arguably more influence from Japanese comics (manga) and cartoons (anime).
These games are often darker, almost horror-like in design and art, and the characters featuring in these games are rendered or drawn in a more realistic way according to western styles, with armor, weapons, and so on being drawn based on actual counterparts in the Middle Ages.
While female characters in fighting games and certain other types are notorious for being faster than the males but less powerful, women in RPGs regularly have the potential to become just as capable at offense as their counterparts.

Greyhawk fandom generally looks down on these three adventures not because they are bad, but simply because they clearly have nothing to do with Greyhawk, and seemed to have been released only to fill spots on a release schedule.
Greyhawk was to take players "back to the dungeon," with ads for the revised setting openly mocking current settings ("What the Hell is a Baatezu?") and hearkening back to an age of breaking down doors and stealing treasure.

A well-run game is one where the GM is able to run things smoothly and in a manner that is suitable to the players.
Not only does the number of players help the game itself, but when players know the game will go on with or without them, they try harder to attend; events that would cause them to miss the game in a small group somehow get rescheduled in a large group.
I don't regret the way the game ended; I feel I was on the high ground, and if they feel that showing common courtesy was too much to ask, then I probably am better off not playing with them.
