Grim's Schoolhouse then subserved this purpose until a small frame meeting-house was built on the site of the present structure, on Lot 11, near the eastern line of the township.

In the township the population was spread out with 27.9% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 28.7% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the township was $27,000, and the median income for a family was $36,250.

The Richmond Township supervisors have voted 3-0 to approve a 1-mill fire tax for 2006 that is expected to raise $87,000 each for the Virginville and Walnuttown fire companies.
The township is looking for residents to serve on a sewer authority that would oversee those two projects, as well as the system that is planned for the village of Walnuttown, he said.
The case ended up in state court after the township zoning hearing board’s 2003 decision denying Burkholder zoning relief from a requirement that all buildings on high-density farms, such as his, be at least 1,500 feet from neighboring residences or zoning districts.

At 35 kilometres, it is indeed for the 1000s that commute everyday to and from the township to their schools and places of employment getting transported to a different world.
Some tourist though are more adventurous and choose to stay for an evening at one of the several “BandBs” that have sprung up around the township with homeowners usually setting aside one room in their homes to accommodate guests.

There was an explosion in the barrel of the rifle that Glenn deRuiter, 54, of 268 W. Portal Road, Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon County, was firing, Grim said.
Grim, who ruled the death an accident, said the malfunction happened in the rifle's receiver ring.
DeRuiter and his wife, Joan, who is a teacher, have lived in the township for about 20 years.
