The chess games of Henri Grob
You know that you have an advantage against the Grob player but he hopes that his attack will finish the game in his favour before the endgame.
Henri Grob was born on the 4th of June 1904 in Braunau (now Broumov), Bohemia (now Austria).
You realise that there are far better ways of being unique over the board than playing the bloody Orangutan or Grob or something.

 Grob's Attack Chess Opening E-Book
Grobs Attack is a many-flawed opening that contains some tricky aspects, allowing the tactically superior player to catch unsuspecting opponents in unusual combinations.
Sawyer’s treatment is not of the "White to play and Win" variety; he recognizes that no Grandmasters currently use the Grob Attack as their primary weapon.
There are many advantages in playing the Grob, including the simple fact that it cannot be prevented.

 The AICCF Bulletin Chap14
According to the Yugoslavian Encyclopaedia of Chess Openings, Black's 2nd move...h5 is supposed to refute the Grob Attack.
The opening is also known as the Desprez Opening, or, among some Americans, as the Reagan Attack, which has some-thing to do with being "thoroughly unmotivated and creates weaknesses with only vague promises of future potential".
The Grob is a good opening for players who like chaotic and complicated positions.

 Chess Openings
Game, Grob?s Attack, King?s Gambit, Old Indian Defence, Ruy Lopez, Queen?s Gambit Declined, and Stonewall Attack?and clearly explains the basic strategy of each variation.
To lose a chess game simply because one cannot survive the early stages against an opponent well-versed in opening theory can be frustrating for any player.
This book is particularly designed to help two categories of chess players: the moderate players whose games are confined to club play or games by correspondence, and the improving players who want to do even better in tournament or club events.

Hardinge Simpole - Handbook of Tricky Opening Strategies in Chess
The Smith-Morra Gambit( 1.e4 c5 2,d4), Budapest Defence (1.d4 Nf6 2,c4 e5), Torre Attack ( 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 with 3.Bg5), Grob (1.g4), and other aggressive lines are not easy to meet, especially since much of the literature on these openings is written from the point of view of the aggressor.
In this book, noted theoreticians John Watson and Eric Schiller have combined forces to provide a thorough examination of over 70 of these annoying openings, presenting refutations, clever lines which are outside the normal paths, and methods of avoiding the opponent's preferred positions.
There are a large number of chess openings which, while not entirely sound or objectively dangerous, nevertheless strike fear into the hearts of some players.

 GROB546 Weasel Walter/Kevin Drumm/Fred Lonberg-Holm
Three years ago we released the Weasel Walter’s recording Tribute to Masayuki Takayanagi (GROB 208).
One hour of music, 40 tracks (the liner notes, an attack upon a saturated and self-righteous Free Jazz scene, are in code in the track titles).
Weasel Walter, earlier in Chicago, now in California, is, however, a master of, if you will, meta-disrespectfullness.

 KAO WAO NEWS GROUP
The support for Nai Pan Nyunt has fallen since Central Executive Committee member Nai Min Htut and other NMSP members were shot during an attack by the HRP in October 2002.
Local Mon villagers from Prang Dai, Kaw Kyeink, Grob Krok and Kadhod Dadaon of Karen State requested a security guard from the New Mon State party (NMSP) but as of yet no assistance has been forthcoming, said a Mon teacher.
According to Nai Chan, a villager, it was not possible that the group was from the Karen National Union because the KNU are not active in the area.
