The Canadian Air Force is now training with nine G 120A training aircraft purchased and operated under a contract with the Canadian DND by Allied Wings, using them for pilot screening, primary and advanced training as well as aerobatics.
The G 140 program, which is close to certification, was put on hold; but in a manner so as to easily be restarted if a fleet order is obtained.
The first flight of the G 120A-F, which is modified to meet the specific needs of the French Air Force, completed production test flying in February 07 and certification of the specific modifications will be completed by the European Aviation Safety Agency in March 2007.

There are plenty of opportunities open to cadets when flying, from aerobatics in the new Grob Tutor to practicing stalls in a Grob Viking glider.
Some Cadets who stand out from the rest may also get the opportunity to fly on a civil airliner or go on an overseas flight in an RAF Tri-Star, VC10 or Hercules.A few cadets have also had the opportunity to fly in a variety of other aircraft including fast jets and the Red Arrows.
For the majority of cadets this means a flight in a Grob Tutor at one of the Air Experience Flight squadrons located around the UK.

im only 15 and have had the privelage to experience things that people never get to experience in their entire length such as aerobatics in a grob 115e tutor and a ride in a BAe Hawk T1 at RAF Valley and all i can say is theres nothing better than flying a fast jet.
i like em because u get to go fast.even though u get g's still.i wouold like to fly em :)
