Grutness, almost all of the larger subdivision scheme combine Aberdeen and -shire -- the problem is there's so many of 'em!
I wonder if it might be better to consider these people by field of endeavour rather than by ethnicity, or - if their field of endeavour is ethnicity-related politics or similar create a stub type on that basis (eg ethno-politician-stub, ethno-activist-stub, or similar).
Otherwise we may be reopening the can of worms we just closed re: Kurd-politician-stub, etc. Grutness...

Of interest to ornithologists is Fair Isle, which lies 24mi/39km southwest of the southern tip of Mainland.
It can be reached by ferry from Grutness (about 2hrs 30 mins) or by plane (25 mins by Loganair from Tingwall Airport).
The name is derived from the Nordic word "fridarey" meaning "peaceful island".

 Getting To Fair Isle
A ferry service, operated by Mr J. Stout of Fair Isle for Shetland Islands Council, sails between Grutness Pier (near Sumburgh at the southern tip of Mainland Shetland) and Fair Isle.
Departure from Fair Isle to Grutness is about 0730 and the return from Grutness is usually at 1140, arriving Fair Isle about 1410.
On alternate Thursdays the ferry departs from Fair Isle at 0600 arriving into Lerwick at 1030, and departs from Lerwick at 1530 arriving Fair Isle at 2000.

February and was there until Sunday 1st March, when we enjoyed a picturesque run down to Grutness with snow on the ground.

Got a text from JL wishing me "good luck on board glorified cork".
My first impressions at Grutness pier were prophetic - I'd forgotten how small the damn thing was, and I didn't like the way it was bobbing alongside the pier.
I lasted about an hour (time to see a Woodcock flying south overhead) before starting to feel less than brilliant, and as the wind picked up and the sea got lumpier the Good Shepherd started to really bounce and pitch.
