He was replaced as heir presumptive by the Guang Xu Emperor and was later adopted by Prince Yi Mo as his grandson.

This Silver crown size coin was minted in Hubei Province, China during the Qing Dynasty between 1895 and 1904 during the reign of Guang Xu, the second last Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
Although there is one tiny chop mark on the obverse and two tiny chop marks on the reverse, it is found in the fields and not on the design or lettering.
