They arrived in Guangzhou, and it took them another 2 hours to get the cargo bay doors open, while passengers were waiting in Immigration for their luggage.
The people in pink vests in the Guangzhou airport were not helpful (she had been told their purpose was to assist passengers.) No one spoke English and could explain to her what was going on or how to rebook her flight.
A lack of language at the airport is a downside though, and the height of the ceiling on arrival (before immigration) is under 2 metres which is disapointing.
