The Guatemala national football team is the national team of Guatemala and is controlled by the Federación Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala.
In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, Guatemala finished fifth in the CONCACF final round, narrowly missing a place in the playoffs.
Guatemala's best finish in the CONCACAF Gold Cup was fourth in 1996.
