Mme Dumas tried to obtain help from Napoleon, but in vain, and lived with her parents in narrow circumstances.
Paris, and Dumas was sent to the office of a solicitor at Crepy.
It was chiefly written by Dumas, whose Memoires first appeared in it, and survived until 1857, when it was succeeded by a weekly paper, the Monte-Cristo (1857-186o).

But after the fifteenth century this faculty fell into decay, as did also the faculty of arts, although for a time, under Henry IV of France, the latter faculty had among its lecturers Casaubon.
