Guinayangan, Quezon - A three-feet long pawikan (sea turtle) was caught by fishermen from this town last July 24, 1999 on Ragay Gulf, near Buenavista, Quezon.
Desuasido in turn informed Juliet Narte, an officer from the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office based in Calauag, Quezon, of the captured turtle.
The turtle was then released by Narte, Desuasido, and some of the rescuing fishermen at Ragay Gulf at around 10:55 in the morning, July 25, 1999.
