The Gulfstream V (also referred to as the G5) originally flew in 1995, was certified in 1997, and was one of the first "ultra-long range" (~6000 nautical miles) business aircraft.
This aircraft may be distinguished from the legacy Gulfstream V by a seventh passenger window on the left side of the aircraft (as opposed to six on the left and either six or seven on the right).
