 FGA - Jack Elam
The prolific Elam often shows up onscreen when you least expect him: he has a bit in The Gunfighter (1950) and in Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957); and he pops up in Kansas City Confidential (1952), Princess of the Nile (1954), Tarzan's Hidden Jungle (1955), and Moonfleet (1955), a swashbuckler starring Stewart Granger.
For film buffs, Jack Elam is a national treasure.
Each Elam character holds a special place with his fans: in director Burt Kennedy's classic Support Your Local Sheriff (1969) Elam is witty and laconic, characteristics he would put to good use in Support Your Local Gunfighter (1971).

DVD review of My Darling Clementine - DVD Town
Before "Wyatt Earp" (1994) and "Tombstone" (1993), there was "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" (1957).
Unlike the action-packed "Tombstone" with its fast pace and charismatic heroes, "My Darling Clementine" is a relatively laid-back, almost poetic vision of the Old West, its characters and characterizations outshining its well-worn plot.
Shot largely in Utah's Monument Valley, Ford's favorite location for Westerns, the scenery is appropriately grand, the vistas sweeping, and the desert vast, making the people and their problems seem almost insignificant by comparison.
