Gunnar Gren (October 31, 1920 - November 1, 1991) was a famous Swedish footballer and part of the famous Gre-No-Li trio.
Gren made his debut for Sweden on August 29, 1940 in the team's 3-2 win over Finland.
Gren died the day after his 71st birthday and is buried in Västra Kyrkogården (Western Cemetery), Gothenburg, Västra Götaland, Sweden.

Gunnar Nordahl (October 19, 1921 - September 15, 1995) was a Swedish football player, best known for his play in AC Milan 1949-1956.
Later, he would team up with his national team strike partners, Gunnar Gren and Nils Liedholm to form the renowned Gre-No-Li trio.
Thomas Nordahl, who is Gunnar's son, was a member of Sweden's 1970 FIFA World Cup squad.

Gre-No-Li is a contraction of the names of three Swedish footballers: Gunnar Gren, Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm.
As well as this, Liedholm and Nordahl won the title in 1955, while Liedholm won the title in 1957 and 1959, after both Gren and Nordahl had moved away.
Of the trio, Gunnar Nordahl was particularly successful, as he was Serie A's top-scorer for five seasons and is currently the second-highest goalscorer of all-time in Italy's top division.
