Gunnar Svedberg is a professor of energy technology and is presently the Vice-Chancellor at Göteborg University.
Gunnar Svedberg comments, “After just on thirty years in the world of higher education as teacher, researcher and administrator at three universities, it feels extremely stimulating to start afresh in the world of business.
Gunnar Svedberg, 58, did his undergraduate studies at the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, where he defended his doctor’s thesis in chemical engineering in 1975.

 The Local - Gothenburg University chiefs prosecuted by justice ombudsman
The Justice Ombudsman accuses vice chancellor, Gunnar Svedberg, and chairman of the university's board, Arne Wittlöv, of failing to implement the court's decision vigorously enough.
The employee in question, Christopher Gillberg, was not available for comment.
But both Wittlöv and Svedberg were surprised at the ombudman's decision.
