Siemens AG - Siemens to supply automation system and electrical equipment for a new hot dip galvanizing line in Korea   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
In Gunsan, on the west coast of the country, the company also has a factory which, since 1998, has been manufacturing coated flat steel.
For the new line, Siemens is supplying the complete drive technology, the basic automation and also the technological closed-loop control systems for the built-in skin-pass mill and the stretch leveller, as well as the measuring and closed-loop control system for strip cleaning and aftertreatment.
The main reasons why Siemens won the contract were the company's technological expertise in the field of strip processing lines, on the one hand, and its local presence in Korea, on the other.

The city has cited economic benefits that will be provided by the government for doing this as motivation, but that hasn’t stopped Seocheon (which will still be in danger and receive no benefits) and even some Gunsan citizens from protesting demanding that the city withdraw it’s application immediately.

About Joel... 조엘에 대하여...: No such thing...
I have let it go the last couple of time someone has cut in line at McDonalds in E-mart, but this is my mart beneath my house and the lady is going to know I won’t put up with her nonsense.
I am surprised it didn’t happen everyday with circumstances like that, but for the most part the line either maintained its integrity or people like myself would walk the half mile to the first bus stop to catch it when it was still half empty.
For what it's worth, young people are far better in terms of getting in line, etc. We also had shuttle buses when I was in college, with lines as long as 50m, and nobody would even imagine cutting in, unless they were masochists who liked getting their asses kicked.
