 Guts - Gary Paulsen book review summary
This book tells things that happened to Gary growing up, racing his dogs, how he survived, and things that happened to him that he wrote in his book Hatchet and the other Brian books he wrote.
If I were to rate this book 1-10 I would give it an 8.5 because you would have to have read Hatchet or the other Brian books for Guts to make sense.
Another reason I gave this book an 8.5 is that he kept skipping around to different places.

I also thought that Guts was going to be in that book, so I was dissapointed by that as well.
Left by Sam at 6/18/2005 1:34 PM Not his most literate or intellectually engaging work (The reason I dig his books so much is his ability to work on 4 different levels, but the visceral aspects certainly are cool.) but certainly a flooring read.
Hes good at it they are enjoyable books and seem to find a way to offer something to every open minded person out there.
