Guy Sigsworth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Guy Sigsworth is an electronica producer and was member of the band Frou Frou together with U.K. singer/songwriter/producer Imogen Heap.
She contacted Sigsworth after hearing the record, and the result was "What It Feels Like for A Girl", co-written with Madonna herself, and produced by Sigsworth, Madonna, and Mark "Spike" Stent.
Sigsworth co-wrote and produced tracks including the lead single, "Unlike Me," which was featured in an a cappella form on hit TV show Grey's Anatomy, "Not Fair" and "You Again." Another Sigsworth collaboration entitled "Disobey" will be included on Havnevik's 2006 album, Melankton.

Frou Frou - Biography - AOL Music
The British duo had been collaborating for years without a record deal, and after what must have been countless hours matching Sigsworth's studio finesse and trickery with Heap's breathy yodel, the group's debut, Details, was completed for American release on MCA Records in 2002.
Sigsworth -- who had in fact worked with Björk (Homogenic, Vespertine) and Madonna ("What It Feels Like for a Girl") among many other significant '90s pop and electronic artists -- grew up listening to eclectic female artists like Kate Bush, and along with Heap, developed an appreciation for classical music.
Born composers, multi-instrumentalist Heap and studio/sound/ producer/musician Sigsworth are credited with many side appearances in support of other artists, especially Sigsworth, who was often used as a bit of a song-fixer.

Frou Frou - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sigsworth had previously worked as part of a band, called Acacia, and had written and produced for artists, such as Seal, but it was his work with Björk that brought him to the attention of Heap and her label.
Heap and Sigsworth kept in contact, remaining friends, and in 2001, having been held in limbo by her record label for a year (despite her second album being written and ready to record), Heap begun collaborating on new tracks with Sigsworth.
Sigsworth, a successful and esteemed producer prior to his work with Heap as Frou Frou has also continued to write and produce for other artists, including with Britney Spears on her 2004 UK #1 single, "Everytime." as well as work with Sugababes and Kate Havnevik.

Frou Frou: Details ---Ink Blot Magazine
Sigsworth, having worked with artists like Madonna and Björk, had an adept ear for perfectly evocative vocals and found Heap highly precocious as a singer and wanted to incorporate her sound into his work.
But as I begin to examine the liner notes, to my chagrin, I make the amazing discovery that one half of Frou Frou is Guy Sigsworth, a producer and musician who has been working with Björk since she jumped on the scene with Debut.
For Frou Frou, their debut album, Details, is merely a chance for Sigsworth and former solo artist, Imogen Heap, to freely develop and expand on a sound they had been developing for quite some time.

The first album got immediately caught in my head, and I attribute that to the songwriting and the Sigsworth contribution, because otherwise it's hard to pinpoint the difference between the two albums—the songs in Empathy are just are more distinctive to my ears than those in Instinct.
No Guy Sigsworth on this album—maybe that's what made the difference with the first.
