Guy had a skin-graft operation yesterday - which was "painful" - and may be allowed to return to the UK mid-week.
PHOTOGRAPHER Guy Smallman was seriously injured by a police grenade in Geneva on 1 June.
After an hour's delay - during which the police continued to shout abuse at Guy and at the protesters who were giving him first aid - he was taken to hospital where he underwent two hours of emergency surgery.

There was some initial concern that it was closed on Sunday (as reported elsewhere on the internet), but it turns out they’re open from 8:00am to 9:00pm on Sundays.
There was only one other guy out there who was tooling away on his laptop and generally being loud and obnoxious.
That may be something to brag about for an old guy, but it kind of seemed like even the other old guys he dragged into the conversation were trying their best to break away and continue down the street.
