 GuyedMast
Because the mast is guyed three times at the top we know that the mast is stable (any fewer than three guys and you would have a mechanism unless the base of the mast was rigidly built in to carry moments of course).
Guys 'B' and 'C' would be in compression and are therefore ignored.
Guy 'A' would be in compression and is therefore ignored.

Guyed mast - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A guyed mast is a mast that receives support from guy lines.
Most guyed masts are used as transmission towers, either by supporting aerials (for VHF and UHF) on the top, or by using the entire structure as an antenna (for VLF, LF, MF and HF).
Guyed masts can also be used as the tops of free standing towers.

 ESDEP LECTURE NOTE [WG15C]
To outline calculation methods for guyed masts, in particular manual calculation of erection tensions in guy ropes, and computer calculation of forces in non-linear mode; to explain the main principles of non-linear calculation; to cover erection methods.
It is acceptable, for guyed masts, not to research the vibration mode periods around the deformed equilibrium position, loading case by loading case.
The component parts of a guyed mast are the foundations, the steel mast, the guy ropes, the structural accessories and the equipment.

Nonlinear dynamic interaction between cables and mast of guyed-tower systems subjected to wind-induced forces   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-06)
A guyed tower is a nonlinear structural system in which the mast, consisting of single beam-column or multiple members (trusses) is supported elastically at various points along its height by inclined pretensioned cables with their ends anchored to the ground.
The important subject of nonlinear dynamic interaction between the mast of a guyed tower and its supporting cables when the tower is excited by turbulent winds is comprehensively studied.
Finally, the nonlinear dynamic analysis of guyed towers methodology incorporates the models obtained from the previous studies to perform a time domain analysis to determine the complete structural behavior of the guyed tower in terms of nodal responses and mast member forces.

Structural engineering other topics - guyed stack design
The guyed mast analogy is good to a point, but there are a couple of considerable differences between stacks and masts (and towers for that matter).
Guy wire galloping is usually the result of the guy wire pretension force being set too low, whereas aeolian vibration is the result of guy wire pretension being set too high.
Guy wire pretensions are normally set between 8 and 15 percent of their ultimate strengths in order to prevent both of these phenomena.

Guy grips had been replaced in the past, and no records could be found on the reinstalled tensions or the methods used for installation.
After just a few guy grip installations with both devices recording similar tension readings, the dynamometer was packed away as the ease-of-use and the direct load readouts available on the RTM 20D converted all skeptics.

The Longwave radio mast Hellissandur (also called Gufuskálar) is a 412 metre high guyed radio mast for longwave transmissions in the vicinity of Hellissandur on the peninsula Snæfellsnes of Iceland.
This mast, which is the tallest structure in Western Europe, is insulated against ground and guyed in 5 levels by steel ropes, which are subdivided by insulators.
After the LORAN-C scheme was shut down in the 1990s the longwave radio mast Hellissandur was converted to an aerial mast for a longwave broadcasting transmitter of the Broadcasting Service of Iceland, for a transmission frequency of 189 kHz and a power of 300 kilowatts.
