It remains home to white supremacist chapters of the Confederate Knights of America and its Skinhead affiliate, the SS of America, where Blacks are still killed by police without repercussion and swastikas spray-painted on Jewish homes without the Sheriff or District Attorney recognizing it as a hate crime.
