Crimson buses from Gwinnett Transit circulate throughout the county on local routes, while in the morning and afternoon, express buses ferry workers to and from Atlanta via high-occupancy vehicle lanes on Interstate 85.

Lawrenceville, GA - Riders of the County's fledgling express bus system have given Gwinnett County Transit high marks for its service quality, according to a recently completed onboard survey.
Some 44 percent of those riding the Gwinnett County bus service have ridden since the initiation of the service last November.
"This allows the County to receive payment for the trip before the ride is taken and it helps speed up the boarding process considerably." The results showed that 71 percent of riders used passes or tickets and 41 percent get subsidies from their employers to purchase the passes.
