The Gyeongin Regional Labor Office (headed by Park Jong-chul) announced on the 21st that it would implement a quarterly comprehensive safety and health management inspection on companies where foreign workers had previously experienced an accident.
All 7 inspectors shall be dispatched to analyze the current conditions that pose risks for foreign workers every quarter and conduct general examination of their safety and health consistently.
An officer of the Gyeongin Regional Labor Office revealed that employers would be instructed regarding the existing problems noted and requested to establish preventive measures for the accidents that previously occurred.

Dear Stefan, The word Gyeongin comes from the planned connection of Gyeongseong station (1900) and Incheon.
It is hard not to draw the inference that the name Gyeongin does not have something to do with the Japanese managed construction project, and also the plans for the original name of Seoul Station.
I look forward to further light being shed by other scholars on the details of that Japanese company (Gyeongin Choldo) and also the naming of Gyeongseong Station in 1900.

Incheon station is the last station of Gyeongin Railway, and if you take the bus from there, the final place of the bus route is Wolmido.
If you want to drive, follow the sign from the last stop of Gyeongin Expressway, it takes 15 minutes for that.
If you take the signs from the Gyeongin Expressway the Second, it takes 20 minutes.

Construction of Plants #1 and #2 of Incheon Thermal Power Plant began in 1968 on a reclaimed site (2,185,000㎡) between Bamseom Lsland and Mokseom Lsland; Plant #1 was completed on May 29, 1970; Plant #2 was completed on December 20, 1974.
The capacity of the two plants is 500,000 kW (250,000 kW x 2), the greatest capacity of thermal plants at that time, and they have contributed to the stable supply of electricity to Gyeongin area.
Plants #3 and #4 (capacity 325,000 kW each) were constructed in May and December of 1978, respectively, to cope with the increased demand in the area.
