Uneven bars (gymnastics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
And common to other artistic gymnastics events judges look at difficulty and form (which can be described, perhaps, as elegance and control).
Judges will penalise unplanned swings used to regain lost momentum, clipping the other bar with a stray foot and a whole half a point is lost if the competitor falls off the bars.
There are also required movements such as a movement from the lower to the upper bar, a movement from the upper to the lower bar and a movement wherein the gymnast's centre of gravity moves towards the bar.

One of the most frustrating parts about coaching uneven bars is dealing with students who lack the strength to adequately perform what is demanded by the event, regardless of skill level.
In other words, the coach that drives uneven bar conditioning "down the throats" of the athletes daily will certainly end up with unhappy, unmotivated gymnasts and most likely a very high attrition rate.
Since every gymnast is mysteriously drawn to the addictive chalking ritual, I suggest developing "IDLE TIME STATIONS" that limits their opportunities to meet at the chalk box.

Today the uneven bars are the most many-sided, most dynamic and most demanding apparatus of women’s gymnastics.
This modification of the bars was not really established in the following time, not at all as a specific feminine apparatus, since the equal participation of women was not possible for a long time due to social circumstances.
As for them, the twelve events were considered to be the “crown of men’s gymnastics”, while there were nine events for the women, which consisted of a mixed competition of athletics and apparatus exercises: horizontal bar, parallel bars, horse, compulsory without apparatus and exercise with clubs as well as hundred-meter sprint and ball throw.
