HIM is a band from Finland formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo, guitarist Mikko Viljami "Linde" Lindström, and bassist Mikko Henrik Julius "Migé" Paananen.
HIM's fifth studio album, 2005's Dark Light, became their breakout in the U.S., debuting in the top 20 of the Billboard Top 200 and spawning two major rock hits, "Wings Of A Butterfly" and "Killing Loneliness", both of which have accompanying videos.
HIM's widely-debated musical style is often referred to as "love metal" by Valo and by the group's fans, while critics commonly refer to them as gothic metal or gothic rock.

I'm not sure if the population density of Finland is really that notable, given the precedent that most countries (even those topping the list of the least dense) don't reference this fact in the introduction...
The very north of Finland stretches to the Mountains, but the rest of the territory is not in Scandinavia.
The ending of the Finland page is slightly misleading because most Finns see Finland primarily as an EU-country instead of a Nordic council country.

The IAAF barred him from Olympic competition because, they claimed, he was no longer an amateur: he had been paid travel expenses for a tour through Germany in 1925.
He continued to run in Finland after that, and was known as the "national amateur." He ran his last race in Viipuri, Finland, on September 16, 1934, winning the 10,000 meters.

The very first time I became aware of the existence of a band called HIM was back in '98 or '99 when I was working in a CD shop, and we got stock of 'Greatest Love Songs Vol.666'.
I first heard HIM on Kerrang radio very late one Saturday night last Spring and the song was Wicked Game.
