This would provide a dilemma it is impossible for one who is not in that position to appreciate - does the innocent parent wrongly convicted remain in gaol 'indefinitely' or admit to the offence to return to the family he/she had been inappropriately removed from?
why as recent as 2001, the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Child Abuse states that “cerebral edema with subarachnoid hemorrhage may be the only finding”, (90) and how this correlates with the totality of findings and the “triad” espoused by Harding, Risdon and Krous.
