 | | The Broadbeamed Group of Leander frigates HMS Andromeda, Hermione, Jupiter, Scylla, Charybdis, Achilles, Ariadne, Diomede and HMS Apollo were designed with a view for increasing their life span for future modifications an extra 2 feet were added to the beam which increased stability and endurance with a slight reduction in speed. |
