HMS Victory is a 104-gun ship of the line of the Royal Navy, built between 1759 and 1765.
The School remained on Victory until 1904, when training was transferred temporarily to HMS Hercules, and in 1906 the whole School was moved to a permanent establishment at the Royal Naval Barracks.
HMS Victory is still in commission as the flagship of the admiral for the time being acting as Second Sea Lord in his role as Commander in Chief of the Royal Navy's Home Command (CINCNAVHOME).

Four stragglers were boarded and captured by the Dutch: HMS Clove Tree (the former VOC-ship Nagelboom), captured by the Wassenaar, HMS Convertine and the entangled HMS Essex and HMS Black Bull; both were captured by the Frisian Rear-Admiral Hendrik Brunsvelt; the Black bull later sank.

Jervis was appointed to HMS Foudroyant in May 1758, a captured French prize, and he was charged with taking her back to England.
HMS Foudroyant remained with the Channel Fleet and was involved in the reliefs at Gibraltar in 1780 and 1781.

Francillon was born in Harwich (then in Essex, England), the fourth son of Francis Francillon of Harwich, a Purser in the Royal Navy.
Colonel Arnold devised the early massive building and engineering program for HM Dockyard, that led to Bermuda being referred to later as the "Gibraltar of the West." His obvious accomplishments, skills and obvious leadership qualities in Bermuda were such that he was marked for prompt promotion and increased military responsibilities.
H.M.S. Vixen displaced 1,230 tons and was built by Lungley Shipyard, Deptford, England, in 1864, and launched in 1867.

He was educated at Burton on Trent Grammar School and subsequently at a private school in Greenwich, to which the family moved in 1747 when his father was appointed Solicitor to the Admiralty and Treasurer to Greenwich Hospital.
Jervis returned to active service with an appointment to HMS Kent in June 1755, but in September, he was appointed to command the ship which he brought back to England as a prize, HMS Foudroyant.
Jervis realised that it was vital to keep the combined fleet from leaving the Mediterranean, so took up station in his flagship HMS Victory off Cape St Vincent in early February 1797.

I think this is the Essex you refer to, but I am unable to turn up anything about Captain William Creed or the ship's crew list.
