HMS Jaguar (F-34) was a J class destroyer laid down by William Denny, Brothers and Company, Limited, of Dumbarton in Scotland on 25 November 1937, launched on 22 November 1938 and commissioned on 12 September 1939.
Jaguar participated in the Battle of Cape Matapan in March 1941.
HMS Jaguar was struck by two torpedoes fired by the enemy German submarine U-652 and sank off Sidi Barrani in Egypt on 26 March 1942 with the loss of 190 of her crew.

HMS Jaguar, a Anti-Aircraft frigate new to the Fleet in December 1959, had a shaky start before moving on to long and varied service that continues to this day.
The RN life of 'Jaguar', after a shaky start, of which more later, was to last some 19 years until her sale to the Bangladesh Navy in 1978.
Her Majesty's Ship JAGUAR commissioned at, or rather between 1500 and 1537 on the 10th of December 1959 in the yard of William Denny Shipbuilders Ltd. The ceremony and the ship were under the command of Commander James Pertwee, Royal Navy and the White Ensign was appropriately hoisted.

The Chief who I think was in fact the OOW aboard HMS Shoreham was a disgrace and the side party (one bosuns mate) for the Second Sea Lord did seem to be a rather poor show for such a senior officer.
The fact that Shoreham was flying a masthead pennant as well as the Vice Admiral's flag must also have had the many ex Ganges signalmen present groaning in their boots but this is a different Navy from the one the majority of us served in.
In addition to that, I was also lucky enough to meet up with another old shipmate from our HMS Delight days, we hadn't seen each other since 1955.

Problem is, all their F34 (should be F44) and munitions come by sea, unless they are fortunate enough to get full HNS (it's not just runways required).
What Col. Collins is saying is that we don't have the resources to match the demands, role or aspirations of our political masters on the world stage.
