  HMAS Melbourne (1945) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
HMS Majestic (R77) was the lead ship of her class of aircraft carriers of the Royal Navy.
She was laid down by Vickers-Armstrong Limited at Barrow-in-Furness in England on 15 April 1943 as HMS Majestic and launched on 28 February 1945.
Melbourne was paid off on 30 June 1982 and laid up at Sydney, was sold to China United Shipbuilding Company Limited in February 1985 and broken up in the port of Dalian in China where it is suspected she had been studied to help design a Chinese aircraft carrier.

HMS Majestic was laid down at Vickers Armstrong 15 April 1943 and launched on 28 1945.
Majestic was commissioned until 28 October 1955 and only for a new owner the Royal Australian Navy.
It was originally recorded in the old FFRR standard, and for its time has quite sumptuous mono sound, although some might find the voices placed a bit too much to the fore.

HMS Terrible was laid down at Devonport Dockyard 19 April 1943.
As with other ships in class work was suspended upon the end hostilities in 1945.
The hardest ones are probably finding Cappy, Stan, and Sandy.

Damaged by boiler fire 26 April 1968 and deemed not worth repairing; placed in reserve pending disposal.
Sold to Argentina 15 October 1968; refitted at Wilton Fijenoord with boilers and turbines from incomplete ex-sister HMS Leviathan.
Commissioned as Veinticinco De Mayo 12 March 1969 but did not complete overhaul until 22 August 1969.
