HMS Ocelot was laid down at the HM dockyard in Chatham on 17th November 1960 and was launched on 5th May 1962.
HMS Ocelot is 295ft (89.4m) in length, with a beam of 26.5ft (8m), and a draft of 18ft (5.5m).
HMS Ocelot's armament comprised 8 x 21 inch (525mm) torpedo tubes, 6 forward and 2 aft with 24 reloads and she carried a compliment of 6 officers and 62 hands.

HMS Ocelot (S17) was an Oberon-class diesel-electric submarine laid down by HM Dockyard at Chatham in Kent on 17 November 1960, launched on 5 May 1962 and commissioned on 31 January 1964.
HMS Ocelot paid off in August 1991 as the conventional submarine fleet of the RN began to decline, making way for the nuclear fleet.
HMS Ocelot was the last submarine built for the Royal Navy at Chatham Dockyard, although three more 'O' class submarines were built for the Royal Canadian Navy.

I was under the Impression that the British tricked Graf Spee into thinking HMS Repulse and HMS Ark Royal were waiting when infact they wouldnt be around for a few more days.
There might be quite a few smaller vessels like the Flower class Corvette, but I think HMS Belfast is the only capital class vessel we have preserved.
It was commissioned a few years before the H.M.S. Dreadnought, since it took place in the abortive revolution of 1905.
