George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur George Windsor) (14 December 1895 – 6 February 1952) was the third British monarch of the House of Windsor, reigning from 11 December 1936 until his death.
George VI was born on the anniversary of the death of Prince Albert, the Prince Consort.
Again, George VI himself was the second son of his parents; and indeed, his elder brother became king, as Edward VIII, upon the death of their father George V.

HMS Prince George Majestic Class battleship of the Royal Navy in historical photographs.
HMS Prince George served with the Channel Squadron until 1906 after which she transferred to the Home Fleet as Flagship until 1909.
She collided with HMS Shannon in December 1909 and was later refitted and in June 1912 became part of the 7th Battle Squadron.

In St. George's, Bermuda, Reeve Court was built by Dr. Thomas Holland, minister of the parish church.
Colonel Arnold devised the early massive building and engineering program for HM Dockyard, that led to Bermuda being referred to later as the "Gibraltar of the West." His obvious accomplishments, skills and obvious leadership qualities in Bermuda were such that he was marked for prompt promotion and increased military responsibilities.
H.M.S. Vixen displaced 1,230 tons and was built by Lungley Shipyard, Deptford, England, in 1864, and launched in 1867.

George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert) (3 June 1865 – 20 January 1936) was the first British monarch belonging to the House of Windsor (formerly known as the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha).
King George V is remembered for his role in World War I, during which he relinquished all German titles and styles on behalf of his relatives who were British subjects; and changed the name of the royal house from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor.
George died on 20 January 1936 at Sandringham House, and is buried at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Some of these weapons were reused on coastal monitors during World War I. Mountings removed from HMS Illustrious were used at the Kitchener and Roberts coastal batteries near the Tyne River in the 1920s.
During prize firing in 1904 HMS Majestic damaged two of her guns, including one which had about 13 inches (33 cm) of the liner blown out, even though she was firing with three-quarter charges at the time.
The redesigned guns had thicker inner A and A tubes of nickel steel and deeper shoulders with cannelured rings, a shorter wire-wound section and improved securing of the rear of the A tube to the jacket.
