The current HMS Triumph (S93) is a Trafalgar-class fleet submarine.
In 2001, during the War on Terror, Triumph, along with her sister-ship Trafalgar and Swiftsure, formed part of a task group that comprised HM ships Cornwall, Fearless, Illustrious, Southampton as well as RFA ships, Bayleaf, Brambleleaf, Dilligence, Fort Rosalie, Fort Victoria, Sir Percivale and Sir Tristram.
In December 2001, Triumph had an unfortunate accident, when the boat grounded off the Scottish coast, while under the command of trainee officers.

In 1948 HMS Talent embarked a team of scientists from the Admiralty Compass Laboratory to conduct a gravitational survey of the English Channel, laying the groundwork for the development of the Ship's Inertial Navigation System (SINS).
She was swept out of dry dock at Chatham on 15th December 1954 when the caisson was insufficiently ballasted and was lifted by an unusually high tide.
During 1946, she took part in numerous exercises in the Far East and made visits to Australia and Japan, before leaving to return to the UK on 21 October for a refit in Chatham Dockyard.
