The squadron's next base was at H.M.S. Nabthorpe (MONAB VI) at Schofields, Sydney, Australia, arriving on the 12th January 1946, where No.1850 squadron remained, until the 19th March 1946, due to H.M.S. Vengeance being in dry dock for repairs.

In Jan 1951 Vengeance relieved HMS Illustrious as the trials and training carrier, but in August underwent conversion for trooping and aircraft ferrying.
With the delivery of Melbourne, Vengeance returne to RN control in Aug 55 but was placed in reserve.

I'm pretty sure that this must be the former HMS VENGEANCE.
The specs fit the COLOSSUS class and Swan Hunter only built two ships of that class.
