		Right now I am leaning towards HQI becasue of the length of the bulb and need to know if that is a stupid reason to go HQI over mogul.
		The HQI bulb is shorter that the mogul.
		I would say a 20k HQI bulb is comparable to a 14k mogul in blue tint.

		hqi is the same as metal hallide hqi is the expression used by osram, phillips calls it hpi.
		HQI lamps are also more colour constant, that means when they get older they tend to keep their original colour at start of life longer.

		I believe the transformer in the HD units is not acceptable for HQI usage, never mind that I'm not matching a wattage, I'm considering the size of the fixture.
		The Ushio 150 watt 10,000K HQI lamps use a RX7s socket and the Ushio 250 watt 10,000K HQI uses a Fc2 socket.
		Although I havent tried any HQI bulbs their claim is that they power both.

	Flame-hqi parameter query
		I am using hqi on the Windows platform and did try using the Gimp as a GUI for design and then using the file created by the Gimp when I saved the flame but it gave me errors.
		I need to use hqi as I think that is the only way I can generate large high res images.
		I have tried using the Gimp itself to generate large images, and explored the KPT plugin and Ultrafracta; all have problems with high res images.
