| | eHRMS - Statement of Problem |
 | | HR practitioners consider new HR technologies, and especially web-based HRMS modules, to play an important role in aligning employees with the organisationÂ’s overall mission and the shifting agenda of the HR function. |
 | | Examined carefully, web-based HRMS technologies are in line with the concept of outsourcing, instead of externally outsource HRM activities to third party providers they could be outsourced internally into their own HR software applications, running routine processes on a more cost efficient basis for the organisation. |
 | | Nevertheless, much has been researched and written about the traditional/manual HRM activities but very little data can be found about contemporary/virtual HRM activities linking competencies, such as knowing the business, customers, understanding the financial, strategic and technological capabilities of the organisation to unique competitive advantages. |
