  Hatak
Hatak (YTB-219), a wooden tug, was originally designated YT-219 and built by Greenpoint Basin and Construction Co., Long Island; launched 22 July 1944, Mrs.
After fitting out at New York Navy Yard, Hatak proceeded to report to the 5th Naval District for duty in January 1945.
She remained in the Norfolk area as a tugboat until struck from the Navy List 27 June 1957.

Ha'tak is a general name for this class of ships as there are many types.

Marine Lance Corporal Hatak Yuka Keyu Martin Yearby, 21, of Overbrook was killed in hostile action on May 14, 2006, in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
Hatak was born March 11, 1985, in Lawton, the son of Justin and Mary Martin Yearby.
Hatak joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force from the Marine Base at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, now deployed to the War on Terrorism/Operation Iraqi Freedom.

21-year-old Hatak Yearby was not only a Marine but he was a Native American dancer as well.
He is survived by his mother and father, his two sisters--one of which is a Marine, and his wife, who he married last February.
He joined the Marines because Hatak, whose name means "free-man" was influence by past veterans, and past warriors.
