Haag Engineering Co. was founded in 1924 when Walter G. Haag, a civil engineer with a quarter century experience, established a consulting office in Dallas, Texas, to provide the service of establishing facility values after losses.
Haag and later incorporated as Haag Engineering Co. The Houston office was established in 1961, just in time for Hurricane Carla.
In 1966, Staff Laboratories was merged into Haag Engineering Co. An Albuquerque office was in operation from 1961 through 1970, and a New Orleans office from 1974 through July 1993.
