As an academic business school, our main concerns always have been disciplinary-based research, first-rate scholarship, and a curriculum reflective of both.
Therefore, the mission of the Haas School of Business at the University of Calfornia, Berkeley is to promote excellence in the science and practice of management through its teaching, research, and public service.

Business School Admission | Resources for MBA Applicants
The latest news to come out was not just good but spectacular: the total compensation packages offered to spring 2005 graduates of Harvard Business School, Tuck, and Stanford were, on average, at least 9.5 per cent higher than those offered to MBA grads a year ago.
Consequently, the chance to spend two years at business school sharpening job skills, improving a résumé, and expanding networks looks attractive, both to prospective applicants and to their employers.
In the short term, an education from a top business school can help you gain valuable work experience with an employer such as a consulting firm, investment bank, or venture capital group.
