 Martial Arts Planet - Gumdo
I have been studying haidong gumdo for about a year and a half now, and I love it.
We have been learning some partner drills that my instructor says is " Gumbo " I believe He may have called it Haidong Gumbo but no promises My ear for foriegn language is fuzzy.
Haidong Gumdo is a Korean Sword Art (Translates as East Sea Swordsmanship).

I found a Hai-Dong Gumbo (Korean swordsmanship) school which is 7 miles away.
I set up a appointment for the school that theaches Haidong Gumbo.
The school's called Parks Martial Arts, all I know about the instructor is that he was a 3 time world class Tae Kwan Do and 2 time Haidong Gumbo winner, an has over 25 years of teaching experience.

A guy I met in Korea, he was a teacher of Haidong Gumbo and was ex Korean special forces.
He was telling me they would run and jump head first over 10 people crouching on the ground and before landing on the ground they would head-but a piece of wood breaking it in two.
They're good but not that good, in korean classes sometimes the teachers would waste precious time punishing students, they would even get into a debate with other students on how to punish the "troublemaker(s)".

Come and try I'm a fl belt in Tang Soo Do and I take classes in Haidong Gumbo
15-09-2003 01:58 AM Yes I take classes on Louisiana Gumbo Preperation, =O! Online hissy fits are hilarious, hahaha, especially since they have mispellings and the cusswords are censored, makes it seem like an angry child.
