Stuttgart have revealed that their deal with Hakan Yakin is valid, despite Fenerbahce coach Christoph Daum claiming the Swiss star had agreed to join the Istanbul side.
Yakin, who has won 27 caps and has scored 12 goals for his country, had been wanted by Fenerbahce before Stuttgart stepped in -- although the player himself denied having told Fenerbahce he would be joining them.
Yakin moved to Paris St Germain in August but the French side cancelled his contract after he had a groin operation against their wishes and he returned to Basel.
