		While some experts believe that the excavated artifacts found in Hakkari appear to belong to the Hurrian civilization, they also indicate that the whole subject of Hurrian civilization is a problematic one and that the lack of archaeological evidence from the Hakkari region makes it difficult to explore the subject.
