Hakudoshi(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-06)
Hakudoshi continues the Infant's search for the final shard by decapitating demons and using his telepathy on their severed heads to watch their souls travel into the afterlife.
Hakudoshi proves to be as manipulative as his master, Naraku, and sends Kagura in his place.
Hakudoshi is often seen riding on the back of his demon horse, Entei, until the beast is destroyed by Inuyasha.
They are about to resume their path of destruction when Hakudoshi, who looks like a young child the same age as Kohaku, intercepts them.
Entei senses that Hakudoshi is a lot more powerful than his current rider, so he abandons him as Hakudoshi is challenged.
Entei is unharmed by this attack, but is separated from Hakudoshi (who is reduced to a head and taken away by Kagura), and lured into a cave by Inuyasha and Kirara.
Having been foiled by Inuyasha and his comrades at the border of the afterlife in his attempt to possess the last shard of the Sacred Jewel, Naraku changes tactics.
Figuring that Kikyo is still alive and in hiding, Naraku sends Hakudoshi and Kohaku to unleash a horde of demonic rats to draw Kikyo out.
The front cover is a collage of Hakudoshi, the head rat demon, and Inu Yasha.

Hakudoshi begins his life as a small, white haired infant.
Hakudoshi is the vile, dirty, polluted remains of Onigumo, Naraku's original human host.
Now Hakudoshi is slightly older and discovers that he can read the minds of the dying to find the location of the final Shikon shard which is at the gateway into the afterlife.
Entei and his rider were sealed far away from each other so their energy would not touch, however Akago freed Entei from his seal as he was searching for the border between the living world and hell.
As he did so, Akago was cut in half by Shinsen with the power he had left, but Akago did not die and the two parts spawned Hakudoshi and Moryomaru.
Entei senses that Hakudoshi is much more powerful than his current master and he is abandoned to challenge him.

Inuyasha and Kagome are watching the tree when Hakudoshi comes and throws these giant slug demons at the tree that start to make the tree rot.
So then Inuyasha and Kagome try to kill the slugs but the tree is already dead by the time they finish and the rats turn around and go back to trying to eat people.
Hakudoshi asks him why Sango saved him and he doesn’t say anything.
Akago is the first form of the 6th detachment of Naraku who takes the form of a young baby and serves as Naraku's heart so that Naraku can be destroyed, but still regenerate (since his heart is somewhere else).
He can speak (at least until Hakudoshi detaches), and has the ability to read minds.
Akago was split in half by a powerful monk (Master Shinsen) while searching for the border between hell and the living world and turned into Hakudoshi and eventually Moryomaru.
Hakudoshi, the boy, is there to slaughter this demonÂ…
But those that come for this demon are most troublesome, and would over power Hakudoshi almost certainly.
But there has been another that came to me recently, saying the wolf and dog demons will be seeking to revive the tree, and he was only here to slaughter it.
