		He has a consultancy and training company (Hal Helms, Inc.) and is well known for his monthly columns in "ColdFusion Developers Journal" and "CF Advisor" and for his work as a Team Allaire member.

		Helms is observant in other ways that made reading this book an adventure.
		Helm makes so many great points in this book and I found myself very much in agreement with his philosophy, and of pointing out that we all have rhythm inside each of us, and that we need to let that spirit come out and be joyful.
		The concept of differential diagnosis in dermatology is a pretty tough one.This CD Rom atlas handles this with great finesse.The authors bring out the points of differentiation between various diseases in their own style.The Discussions cover almost all the major diseases that a physician sees in his practice and also some uncommon ones.

		For anyone who has been frustrated by trying to rewrite (or just understand) code that someone else has written or even extend an existing app, the spaghetti code that is so typical with ColdFusion represents a real limitation toward building in extensibility and flexibility.
		Discovering CFCs by Hal Helms and Ben Edwards, both of Mach-II (www.mach-ii.com) fame, is the only book available which tackles the concept of CFCs from its object-oriented roots to its limitations.
		Helms and Edwards also discuss how typical solutions rendered in CFML can be improved through the use of CFCs, which is particularly useful.

	Re: CF Training: CFCs
		Well, I was going to chip in my $.02 about this, but Matt covered most of what I wanted to say.
		Hal Helms has written a book called Discovering CFC's, which is very informative.
		As Matt mentioned also, OOP is essentially the Defacto standard in programming now-a-days, and Macromedia is pushing CFCs and their usage very heavily.

		What actually happened is that Fusebox 4.0 was created in order to continue the evolution of Fusebox for procedural development and Mach-II evolved as a pure ‘OO’ Framework needing and taking full advantage of the enhanced xml capabilities and CFC’s in CFMX 6.1.
