		Hal Jordan is a DC Comics superhero, the Silver Age Green Lantern, and arguably the most famous hero to bear that name.
		Hal Jordan also appeared in a 2003 episode of the Duck Dodgers animated series entitled The Green Loontern, in which Duck Dodgers is mistakenly given a Green Lantern uniform by his dry cleaners.
		Hal Jordan was a founding member of the Justice League of America, which first appeared in Brave and the Bold #28-30 (February 1960 – July 1960, DC Comics).

		But this could be a contemporary human drama encompassing epic space adventure, with mind-bending 2001-style effects as Jordan explores the universe with his new-found power, tracing the ring back to its origins and discovering its purpose.
		I wish it were a serious Green Lantern with Hal Jordan vs. Sinestro and I'm disappointed GL is being wasted on a Jack Black comedy.

		It looks like Johns is going to give a bunch of Hal's older villains makeovers like he did with the Flash villains, as well as coming up with some new ones, so that should be fun.
		I stand by the statement that the turn of Hal Jordan, his transformation/possession into/by Parallax, his time as the human anchor for the Spectre, and his resurrection and reformation of the Corp is perhaps, a helluva epic story- if you retconned it into one cohesive tale.
