The Halbert and Nancy Robinson Center for Young Scholars at the University of Washington is a national leader in recognizing and serving the needs of gifted young college and pre-college students.
The Center is the gateway through which academically talented students can enter the UW after two or fewer years of secondary school through the Transition School/Early Entrance Program and the UW Academy for Young Scholars.
It promotes these young UW scholars through mentoring, advising, and support services during their pre-college and undergraduate years, and conducts longitudinal follow-up studies to monitor and refine program activities.
