	Halden - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Halden, formerly Fredrikshald, is a town and municipality in the county of Østfold, Norway.
		Due to Halden's close proximity to the border with Sweden, the Fredriksten fortress was erected in Halden in the 17th century.
		Halden is the only city mentioned in Norway's national anthem, with a reference to the town's citizens burning their own houses to prevent them being taken by the invading Swedes.

		It's taken from the fortress rising above the city to defend it's inhabitants form the Swedish attacks in the 1600s and 1700s.
		Halden is close to the Swedish border, and are surrounded by large areas of wood, lakes and a nice coast where a lot of locals use their boats on every minute of their spare time.
