		Half Past Dead drops in an intriguing twist, literally, when a small force of heavily-armed and highly trained thieves led by Morris Chestnut infiltrate a newly reopened Alcatraz prison.
		One of the lesser hallmarks of past Seagal films was the fact that he actually handled his firearms with some degree of authenticity.
		Half Past Dead is non-entertaining, B-grade tripe with a thinly mainstream polish.

		His cinematic career has slowly decreased in value over the past decade and there seems to be no sign that audiences can look forward to future improvements as every film he's completed since 1992's Under Siege has been a step in the wrong direction.
