Halifax County is a county in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.
The boundaries of four other counties - Annapolis, Kings, Cumberland and Lunenburg - were specifically defined at that time, with Halifax County comprising all the part of peninsular Nova Scotia that was not within their limits.
In 1835, Halifax County was divided and the Counties of Colchester and Pictou County were created out of parts of what had hitherto been Halifax County.

In the centre of the city, all the main office buildings have shops underneath or on the ground floors which are all connected by tunnels from the first floor to the building across the street.
When I returned the Halifax Maritime Museum was just 1 block away so I headed there.
I had lunch at one of the 55 pubs in the city, did some more looking around, found the bus station right on the edge of the city then headed back to the Inn where I was staying.
