		Halkirk United's inconsistency was all too evident again as they were defeated 2-0 at Invergordon.
		Halkirk picked themselves up from a defeat last week, with a 1-0 home win against Bonar Bridge and finally there was an incredible 12 goal thriller as Dornoch and Invergordon shared the spoils with a 6-6 draw.
		Halkirk pulled a goal back with a few minutes to go with the goal of the game from Stuart Sinclair who scored with a curling effort into the top corner past Brian Mackay.

		Halkirk started the second half well with manager Iain MacDonald’s words ringing in their ears and almost pulled a goal back as Michael Bremner was put right through on goal.
		After seven minutes Halkirk had their first effort on goal as Alan Farquhar tested Jack Mackay from distance but the big keeper collected the ball cleanly.

		Halkirk started brightly and forced two corners in the first minute with Sinclair and Martin missing great chances to take the lead as they came out of the blocks quickly forcing Thurso on the back foot for the first 4 minutes.
		Halkirk almost equalised after 23 minutes when Steven found Derek Munro with a cross from the right, he beat two players then Brian Mackay came out of his goal to smother the ball and retain the one-goal lead for the home side.
		Then after 13 minutes Halkirk got a real let off when Ian Coghill broke down the right and passed to Ross Sutherland who squared the ball which was cleared from one yard out with Morris waiting to pounce at the back post.
